Weather Agency in the Philippines

The Philippines is one of the countries that usually use long names for their government agencies. For instance, the PAGASA or the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical & Astronomical Services Administration. Phew, that is really long, huh? PAGASA is a government agency of the Republic of the Philippines that handles and studies the country's climate changes. The agency is the pioneer of excellence in operational hydrology, astronomy, meteorology, and other related sciences. It is the sole agency in the Philippines that has capabilities on forecasting, monsoons, typhoons, etc.
